In the past, Matty volunteered as a Disc Jockey on San Antonio College’s KSYM 90.1FM, as well as produced and co-hosted a traveling podcast called Two Guys on the Move for LibSyn.com, Liberated Syndication. Matt also produced three pilots in the summer of 2012 for his YouTube channel called The New Matthew Martinez Show, as well as two iterations of a “Late Night” style podcast called Tonight with Matthew Martinez, and Tonight with Matt and Anthony for BlogTalkRadio.
The first video game Matty remembers owning and playing was Tetris for my Gameboy in 1996. Since then, he has owned and played games on almost every Nintendo based console. He’s also dabbled in PC edutainment titles in my youth, as well as games for other systems (Sega, Playstation, Atari, etc.) Even though his love for Nintendo shows throughout the program, he still respects and admires the efforts of developers and publishers on other platforms.
Matthew hopes to produce a program that provides concise information about a video game, based on his experience playing it. He also hopes to deliver his program to the viewer/listener without being tied down to a social media platform, video hosting site, or podcast platform.
